When you study horn at °Ä6ͼ¿â, you’re considered a young professional. That means we’ll support and challenge you to reach your full artistic potential as a performer and teacher.
As a horn student you’llÌýbe part of a department that’s designed to maintain a carefully balanced enrollment, which presents multipleÌýopportunities to perform solo, chamber, orchestral, operatic and new music repertoire. Orchestral participation is virtually continuous.
All horn majors also participate in weekly horn class, where you’ll focus on repertoire, readings of major works and master classes.
