When you study conducting at °Ä6ͼ¿â, you receive an intensive experience with high-quality ensembles composed of °Ä6ͼ¿â’s student musicians.
Designed with a very small enrollment of two or three students, the conducting program gives you access to significant podium time to develop your training in this field. You’ll also have regular access to observe rehearsals with The °Ä6ͼ¿â Orchestra and sectionals conducted by Orchestra principals.
Your curriculum combines conducting studies with music history and literature, theory and analysis, ensembleÌýand elective courses chosen in consultation with your major instructor.
