Major in More than Music with CWRU
The °Ä6ͼ¿â dual degree program enables °Ä6ͼ¿â students to pursue a at our partner institution, Case Western Reserve University. After five years of study, students in the program receive a Bachelor of Music degree from °Ä6ͼ¿â, and a second bachelor’s degree in a major offered at Case Western Reserve University. Some °Ä6ͼ¿â students also pursue an through course studies at Case Western Reserve University. Declaration of a minor is made at a later date post-enrollment.
The application for this program is only through °Ä6ͼ¿â. You do not need to complete a separate application to CWRU to be considered for the dual degree program. Instead, indicate your interest in your °Ä6ͼ¿â application. Submit additional materials for dual degree consideration through the °Ä6ͼ¿â application or your high school counselor. Additional materials can include high school counselor and academic teacher recommendation letters. Official SAT/ACT scores are optional.Ìý
Dual degree applicants must be accepted by °Ä6ͼ¿â first. Once accepted at °Ä6ͼ¿â, the °Ä6ͼ¿â Admissions Office will send the application to the Undergraduate Admissions Office at CWRU. Applicants will receive their notice of acceptance at CWRU through their °Ä6ͼ¿â acceptance letter.Ìý
If an applicant is accepted to the dual degree program, the enrollment is finalized through °Ä6ͼ¿â. The °Ä6ͼ¿â and CWRU registrarÌýofficesÌýwill coordinate the details of the enrollment and classes needed.Ìý
Students enrolled in the program pay the °Ä6ͼ¿â tuition plus a dual degree fee. Find the detailed cost of attendance for °Ä6ͼ¿â,Ìýhere. The dual degree is only offered through °Ä6ͼ¿â and generally the fee associated with the program is not funded by scholarships. However, federal financial aid may be used to offset the cost. All dual degree applicants are considered for merit and need-based scholarship through °Ä6ͼ¿â. Students who apply to both schools independently cannot combine scholarships offered at either institution.Ìý
