The Academy

The Academy offers passionate and focused young musicians an opportunity to explore their musical interests, grow in a dedicated community, and master the tools to succeed in whatever path they choose, regardless of their ultimate career goal.

MPF 2023

Musical Pathway Fellowship

Designed for Black and Latinx students within the Academy, the Musical Pathway Fellowship provides ongoing, multi-year support to students in grades 1-12 and their families.

YAP cellist

Young Artist Program

Young Artists study with conservatory faculty in a specialized half-day curriculum, benefitting from immersive training through the conservatory, participating in lessons, chamber music, ensembles and classes to prepare for college auditions.

Summer Programs

In the summertime, we offer specialty programming in music theory and composition; private lessons for all ages, including adult learners; and host the Sphinx Organization’s Performance Academy for young string musicians.
